Life after death has always been a mystery, yet the Scriptures give insight into what happens to every person after they die. The first death recorded was Abel, killed by Qayin, his elder brother. The soul of Abel still cries for justice until the entire seed of Qayin is wiped out from the earth.
The Ivriym Scriptures confirm a categorisation of souls from the time of Adam, through the era of the Nephilim, until the second coming of Yahusha. This categorisation describes a landmass beneath the earth with four chambers, separated by deep voids (sometimes water, sometimes dark space). After Abel’s death, innocent righteous ones who were murdered joined him in the “Petition of Abel” chamber. Righteous souls who died naturally occupied another chamber. General evil people were assigned to a third chamber, and Antichrists to a fourth.
The difference between the chambers of general evil people and Antichrists is their eternal fate. Antichrists, who rule over and manipulate the general evil, will be annihilated from existence at the final judgment when Yahusha Ha’Mashiach returns. General evil people, however, will remain in eternal torment—just as described in the parable of the rich man and Lazarus.
Rev 16:5 And I heard the angel of the waters say, You are righteous, O Yahuah, which are, and was, and shall be, because you have judged thus.
6 For they have shed the blood of qodeshiym and prophets, and you have given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.
1. And thence I went to another place, and he showed me in the west another great and high mountain [and] of hard rock.
2. And there was in it †four† hollow places, deep and wide and very smooth. †How† smooth are the hollow places and deep and dark to look at.
3. Then Raphael answered, one of the holy angels who was with me, and said unto me: ‘These hollow places have been created for this very purpose, that the spirits of the souls of the dead should assemble therein, yea that all the souls of the children of men should assemble here. And these places have been made to receive them till the day of their judgement and till their appointed period till the period appointed, till the great judgement (comes) upon them.’
5. I saw the spirits of the children of men who were dead, and their voice went forth to heaven and made suit.
6. Then I asked Raphael the angel who was with me, and I said unto him: ‘This spirit–whose is it whose voice goeth forth and maketh suit?’
7. And he answered me saying: ‘This is the spirit which went forth from Abel, whom his brother Cain slew, and he makes his suit against him till his seed is destroyed from the face of the earth, and his seed is annihilated from amongst the seed of men.’
8. Then I asked regarding it, and regarding all the hollow places: ‘Why as one separated from the other?’
9. And he answered me and said unto me: ‘These three have been made that the spirits of the dead might be separated. And such a division has been made for the spirits of the righteous, in which there as the bright spring of water.
10. And such has been made for sinners when they die and are buried in the earth, and judgment has not been executed on them in their lifetime.
11. Here their spirits shall be set apart in this great pain till the great day of judgement and punishment and torment of those who †curse† forever, and retribution for their spirits. There HE shall bind them for ever.
12. And such a division has been made for the spirits of those who make their suit, who make disclosures concerning their destruction, when they were slain in the days of the sinners.
13. Such has been made for the spirits of men who were not righteous but sinners, who were complete in transgression, and of the transgressors. They shall be companions, but their spirits shall not be slain in the day of judgment, nor shall they be raised from thence.
The souls of the Nephilim, on the other hand, became the demons that still roam the earth today. Their seed continues to linger among humanity. When they die, they add to the number of disembodied spirits trapped on earth until the final judgment, when they will be completely removed from the new heaven and new earth.
Enoch 15:
8. And now, the giants, who are produced from the spirits and flesh, shall be called evil spirits upon the earth, and on the earth shall be their dwelling.
9. Evil spirits have proceeded from their bodies; because they are born from men, and from the holy Watchers is their beginning and primal origin; they shall be evil spirits on earth, and evil spirits shall they be called.
10. As for the spirits of heaven, in heaven shall be their dwelling, but as for the spirits of the earth which were born upon the earth, on the earth shall be their dwelling.
11. And the spirits of the giants afflict, oppress, destroy, attack, do battle, and work destruction on the earth, and cause trouble: they take no food, but nevertheless hunger and thirst, and cause offences. And these spirits shall rise up against the children of men and against the women, because they have proceeded from them.
Yet not all faced death. Some saints were translated, escaping physical death entirely. During the reign of Enoch, certain people followed him to the “mountain of translation” and were taken into the first or second heaven. In the time of Shem, known as Melchizedek, others were translated along with the city of Shalom. The prophet Elijah experienced the same. Together, these form the Firstborn Assembly, beginning with the City of Enoch.
In those days, it was common for certain Ivriym individuals to devote their entire lives to worshipping Yahuah with the sole goal of being translated to the City of Enoch, never tasting death. This devotion was similar in spirit to the School of Prophets during the days of Elijah and Elisha. Still, the majority of people died without translation.
2 Ezra 4
40 So he answered me and said: Go your way to a woman with child and ask of her when she has fulfilled her nine months, if her womb may keep the birth any longer within her.
41 Then said I, No, Adonai, that can she not. And he said unto me, In She'ol the chambers of souls are like the womb of a woman:
42 For like as a woman who travails makes haste to escape the necessity of the travail, even so do these places hasten to deliver those things that are committed unto them.
2 Ezra 7
Describes the fate of every evil soul after death. They are tormented by seven regrets:
4 Ezra 7
81 The first way, because they have scorned the Torah of El Elyon.
82 The second way, because they cannot now make a good repentance that they may live.
83 The third way, they shall see the reward laid up for those who have trusted the covenants of El Elyon.
84 The fourth way, they shall consider the torment laid up for themselves in the last days.
85 The fifth way, they shall see how the habitations of the others are guarded by angels in profound quiet.
86 The sixth way, they shall see how some of them will pass over into torments.
87 The seventh way, which is worse than all the ways that have been mentioned, because they shall utterly waste away in confusion and be consumed with shame and shall ✓ with fear at seeing the gl Eyon before whom they sinned....
This teaching has nothing to do with Christianity, Abrahamic church doctrines, “giving your life to white Jesus,” the Political constitution, or international law. It is about recognizing the Torah as the eternal standard given to humanity. None of us chose how we came into this world, but each of us must choose how we will exit.
Some may ask: How did members of the Firstborn Assembly reach heaven without dying first? The answer is this: no one has gone to the seventh heaven except Yahusha. The City of Enoch exists in the first or second heaven. When Yahusha said, “The kingdom of heaven is within you,” He was not playing with words. He was giving the people a spiritual key and way to cultivate their spirit-man and enter into translation, just as Enoch and Elijah did, without facing death. Sadly, this understanding was largely forgotten before Yahusha’s birth.
Book of Nazarene 14:29–30; Luke 17:20
BOOK OF KALIEDY (Book of Natsarim) 14
Paul echoed this truth, but knowing that he would not attain translation, he placed his hope in resurrection. As he wrote:
“That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; if by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead. Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 3:10–12
The Afterlife: Seven Days of Pre-Assessment
After the death of a human, the soul is given seven days of divine pre-assessment, seven days to review everything that happened in their life on earth. This period determines which chamber in Sheol they will enter:
-
The Chamber of the Righteous
-
The Chamber of Abel’s Petition (for martyrs)
-
The Chamber of General Evil
-
The Chamber of the Antichrists
4 Ezra 7
100 I answered and said: Will time therefore be given to the souls, after they have been separated from the bodies, to see what you have described to me?
101 He said to me: They shall have freedom for seven days, so that during these seven days they may see the things of which you have been told, and afterwards they shall be gathered in their habitations.
When Yahusha Ha’Mashiach was crucified, He descended to the chamber of the righteous. He did not enter the Petition of Abel, for His blood spoke a better word:
Hebrews 12:24
And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.
By descending into Sheol, Yahusha established His authority:
Ephesians 4:8–10
Wherefore he says, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)
His resurrection revealed His victory, as even the graves testified:
Matthew 27:52–53
And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the qodeshiym which slept arose, And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.
The saints who rose at His death were likely those who had lived in righteousness, striving for translation to heaven on earth, but died naturally. Through Him, they were granted new life and testimony of the power of resurrection.
